John Richards Furniture is easy to visit being conviently located at the Western End of The Parade - right next to Norwood Oval.
Parking on The Parade itself is usually quite easy, or perhaps just around the corner in Woods Street next to Norwood Oval, or across the road in Elizabeth Street.
Public Transport
Adelaide Metro Bus Stop 7 is immediately out the front of Norwood Oval.
Simply cross over Woods Street any you'll find the John Richards Furniture showroom 2 buildings down on the Norwood Oval side of The Parade.

Since 1956 when John Richards opened the doors, John Richards Furniture & Antiques has built a reputation for offering a range of quality home and office furniture, gorgeous antiques and reproduction style pieces.

Today, John's son Matthew and his family proudly carry on the family tradition. Matthew's skills as a craftsman to restore, refurbish and personalise fine furniture is known Australia wide in fact even worldwide. Although retired now, John still keeps a keen eye on the continued success of the business and continues to offer his vast array of knowledge of antiques to the team.
Matthew and his team have a passion for Victorian period antiques (1837 1901), a grand period with flowing lines, AND the Edwardian era (1890 to 1910) noted for the 18th century Shereton revival, lighter designs popular for its beautiful Rosewood, Walnut and Mahogany inlays.

Furniture Care & Advice
Some final advice we received from Matthew before we left ... care for your furniture simply by using a quality Leather chamoise don't wax too often maybe try a bit of bees wax once a year.For each piece you buy, you'll be offered some sound advice and instructions from the people 'in-the-know' on how to easily ensure it retains its lustre for years to come.
